Coconut wood has been worked into a smooth puffed oval. A hand applied Ebony type finish was rubbed in and then trimmed inside and out with .925 Sterling Silver. This Taxco artist only makes a few of one design and then moves on to the next. In this creation he has formed various cube shapes of solid Sterling Silver and soldered them to a heavy sheet of Silver. Holding this pendant is like holding an ingot of the same size. A very substantial work of art to say the very least. A heavy oxidized finish between the shapes really punches it up into the ultra dramatic design category.
