The artisan created a swift spinning illusion by fashioning the supports for the Silver webbing with a directional wind-blown curvature. The look reminds you somewhat of the enchanting Dreamcatchers that were so popular 40 years ago. Balinese artists are very particular about the quality of the stones they use. That's totally understandable with the amount of detail and labor in their pieces. Certainly a great deal of pride has to be involved.
A total of nine matched, high quality, Amethyst are incorporated into a half round and set with open backs for light access. Highly polished Silver dot work accents the stones and completes the creation. You can't help loving this special work of art.

The Plumeria is floating lightly on the water as it drifts down river peacefully. The telltale sign is as all of the background for the blossom is done in the traditional Kali design of smooth formed river bed rocks. The design is beautifully done with the Kamboja (Balinese name) sitting above in relief and the deep etched lines of the composition oxidized black to perfection. Quantities are limited, however each pendant was handpicked for the quality of the Amethyst...and they are all perfect color!
